Since its full model change in 2015, only diesel models of the "V-Class" have been available in Japan. The V-Class has been enhanced with Japan-original features and accessories, such as a 7-seat layout, power sliding doors on both sides, and a rear entertainment system. Now, the V-Class welcomes its first-ever gasoline engine model as a special edition.
The "V 260 Long" features a "long" body size, which is slightly larger than the standard model. The gasoline engine produces a maximum output of 155 kW (211 hp) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Standard equipment includes the "Radar Safety Package" driver assistance system, leather seats, a 3rd-row bench seat with reclining function, and a center console underbox with a drink holder and cover. The interior is enhanced with brown wood-grain trim, complemented by 18-inch, 5-spoke, gray-painted aluminum wheels.
A total of 250 units will be sold, with 125 in Obsidian Black and 125 in Rock Crystal White. The price is 7.38 million yen, with deliveries scheduled for January 2019.
