Numerous Custom Interior and Exterior Options Adopted via Custom Order Program
Born in 1998 with the entirely new philosophy of "maximum potential in a minimal body," Smart. The "Smart BRABUS" pursued this concept of sportiness and design even further, and these two cars appear as special limited editions to commemorate Smart's 20th anniversary and mark its finale.
The exterior features a custom order-made program called "tailor made," incorporating a front bumper, front spoiler, side skirts, and side accents not typically equipped. The exterior color is a special "Anniversary Silver," combined with Deep Black accents throughout.
The interior is enhanced with premium touches, including exclusive BRABUS sports seats with diamond stitching and espresso brown leather used for the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels. The shift knob is engraved with the years 2003-2018, representing the period Smart BRABUS was sold in Japan, along with a serial number from "1/20" to "20/20" for each unit.
The powertrain combines a 0.9-liter inline three-cylinder turbo engine with increased fuel pressure by 2 bar and optimized air supply, producing a maximum output of 80 kW (109 ps) and a maximum torque of 170 Nm. This is paired with a dedicated 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, achieving 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 165 km/h. Steering is right-hand drive only. The price for the Smart BRABUS fortwo the final is 4.09 million yen, and the Smart BRABUS cabrio the final is 4.32 million yen.
