Design Evokes the Flagship Coupe LC

The "RC" that received a minor change this time was developed with the aim of evolving into a more attractive coupe by inheriting the design and driving performance of the flagship coupe "LC." It is said that the development included an elegant exterior design, a high-quality interior, improved aerodynamic performance, refinements to the tires and suspension, and adjustments to engine characteristics and steering feel.

The exterior features a spindle grille with a mesh pattern where the opening ratio gradually changes between the top and bottom, and bumper corners that extend downwards from the headlamps. The headlights incorporate a new expression created by a new three-lens LED lamp unit arranged vertically, combined with L-shaped LED clearance lamps.


At the rear, air ducts are provided at the bumper corners to improve handling stability. The design emphasizes the stance of the tires, and the rear combination lamps have a design that further highlights the L-shape. The sporty "F Sport" model features an F mesh pattern grille, exclusive interior and exterior items, and 19-inch aluminum wheels with a design shared with the LC and LS.

A total of 11 body colors are available, including the newly added "Naples Yellow Contrast Layering" and "Sparkling Meteor Metallic."

More Direct Acceleration Feel

Inside, the heater control and audio panels have a hairline finish, and larger knee pads and an analog clock with the same design as the LC have been newly adopted on the instrument panel. The interior colors include Ocher, which is also used in the LC, and seven colors in total, including the newly added "Black & Accent Mustard Yellow" exclusive to the F Sport model.

Regarding the driving experience, the car aims to inherit the "sharper, more elegant" driving concept of the LC and provide a vehicle characteristic that allows drivers to enjoy the pleasure of driving. Firstly, in terms of aerodynamic performance, the shape of the fin on the side window molding and the ducts added to the rear bumper reduce pressure fluctuations within the wheel wells, improving handling stability. For models equipped with 19-inch wheels, new tires with enhanced grip performance have been adopted to achieve excellent handling stability.



The suspension combines improved shock absorbers that provide sufficient damping force even at low stroke speeds with higher rigidity bushings. Furthermore, by repeatedly conducting driving tests and fine-tuning every detail, the suspension achieves both a flat vehicle posture and high dynamic performance.

Additionally, the 8AR-FTS 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine mounted in the RC300 has improved response to accelerator input, offering a more direct acceleration feel.

Prices range from 5.56 to 6.08 million yen for the 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo "RC300," 6.00 to 6.52 million yen for the 2.5-liter hybrid "RC300h," and 6.36 to 7.07 million yen for the 3.5-liter V6 "RC350."
