On March 20th, the "XFR-S," finished in "Italian Racing Red," conquered the hills of Goodwood, Jaguar's homeland. This is Jaguar's fastest saloon, producing a maximum output of 550ps and 680Nm of torque from its 5.0-liter V8 engine, capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds.
Behind the wheel was Andy Wallace, who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988 with the Jaguar XJR-9LM.
According to Jaguar's Global Brand Director, Adrian Hallmark, deliveries of the XFR-S will begin in the summer, with prices starting at £79,995 (approximately ¥11.6 million) in the UK.
Also on display that day were the Jaguar "2.4 Litre (Mk1)" improved version, the "Mk2" (1962 model), Jaguar's first small saloon, and a short-nose version of the Jaguar "D-Type" (1954 model), the racing car that achieved three consecutive victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1955 to 1957.
