Mercedes-Benz Connection

A refreshed space to experience the "now" of Mercedes

Mercedes-Benz Connection, a hub for experiencing the Mercedes-Benz brand up close, opened in July 2011 on Gaien Higashi Dori in Roppongi 7-chome. It has now relocated and reopened on January 18th.

Since its opening in July 2011, Mercedes-Benz Connection has attracted over 900,000 visitors (as of the end of November 2012) and continues to transmit information as a multi-purpose space where visitors can feel closer to the "now" of Mercedes. The facility has now moved approximately 100 meters from its previous location directly opposite Tokyo Midtown, towards Nogizaka Station across one road, and has reopened today, January 18th.

Mercedes-Benz Connection was born as a completely new facility, centered around a cafe, restaurant, and lounge, marking the first endeavor of its kind for the Mercedes-Benz brand. With this relocation, the floor layout has been completely revamped with the concept of "connecting and being connected," reborn as a place that offers an even greater experience and service than before.

Inside the 1,454-square-meter facility, a runway runs through the center of the first floor, flanked by the latest Mercedes-Benz models. A new "Trial Station" has also been established, where visitors can easily apply for test drives and access the latest automotive information. The "DOWNSTAIRS" cafe, equipped with Wi-Fi and open from 7 AM, features drinks supervised by Hiroshi Sawada of Streamer Coffee Company, known for its branches in Shibuya and Harajuku. Food is supervised by Shuichiro Kimura of the popular bakery "Maison Kayser," offering light meals such as lattes, sandwiches, and French toast.

The second floor houses a restaurant, counter bar, and the "AMG Private Lounge." The restaurant "UPSTAIRS" features Ryuta Iizuka, a two-Michelin-starred chef, as producer, offering authentic French cuisine at casual prices. Amusingly, the menu items are named after Mercedes-Benz cars, such as "A-Class" and "G-Class."

The "AMG Private Lounge" is a special lounge, the first of its kind outside of Germany, where customization for "AMG," Mercedes' high-performance brand, can be carried out. AMG is increasingly gaining momentum as it celebrates its 45th anniversary.

A new connection of people, city, and culture radiates from Roppongi, Tokyo, centered around Mercedes-Benz. The "connection" with visitors begins anew, right here.
