Premium Audio System Standard on Upper Grades
The biggest topic in this specification change is the addition of the "D4" clean diesel turbo engine to both models. The 2.0-liter turbo engine produces a maximum output of 140kW (190ps) and a maximum torque of 400Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The engine employs an SCR catalytic converter that suppresses nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas with AdBlue (urea water), decomposing harmful nitrogen oxide emissions into nitrogen and water vapor. This is said to contribute to a significant reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions.
In addition, regarding equipment, the upper grades "Inscription" (V90) and "Summum" (V90 Cross Country) come standard with the "Tailored Dashboard & Inner Door Panel Top" and a "harman/kardon premium sound audio system" with 600W, 14 speakers, and a subwoofer, enhancing comfort.
Pricing for the newly introduced diesel models includes the "V90 D4 Momentum" at 7.09 million yen, the "V90 D4 Inscription" at 7.94 million yen, the "V90 Cross Country D4 AWD Momentum" at 7.39 million yen, and the "V90 Cross Country D4 AWD Summum" at 8.24 million yen.
In conjunction with the specification changes, prices for other models have also been adjusted. For the V90, the "T5 Momentum" is 6.79 million yen, the "T6 AWD Inscription" is 8.44 million yen, and the "T8 Twin Engine AWD Inscription" is 9.64 million yen. Meanwhile, for the Cross Country, the "T5 AWD Momentum" is 7.09 million yen, the "T5 AWD Summum" is 7.94 million yen, and the "T6 AWD Summum" is 8.64 million yen.
