Top Speed 325 km/h: An Open-Top Car for Both Track and Road

Following the "Huracán Performante," which means "performance" in Italian and was announced last year at the Geneva Motor Show as the Huracán's high-powered, lightweight model,Huracán Performantethis year saw the unveiling of the open-top model, the "Huracán Performante Spyder."

The specifications, including the engine, are the same as the coupe version, the "Huracán Performante." It is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine producing a maximum output of 470 kW (640 ps) and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, driving all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Performance figures show a top speed of 325 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.1 seconds for the Spyder, compared to 2.9 seconds for the coupe.

It boasts performance comparable to the coupe's lap time of 6 minutes 52.01 seconds at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, a record for a production car, and is also road-legal.

The body utilizes aluminum and carbon fiber, achieving a weight of 1,507 kg, 35 kg lighter than the coupe. Lamborghini's patented "ALA" (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) active aerodynamics system adjusts aerodynamic load for situations requiring high downforce or low drag, and activates aerovectoring during high-speed cornering, contributing to driving dynamics.

The roof features a lightweight electro-hydraulic soft top. It can be opened in 17 seconds at speeds up to 50 km/h, and the rear window can also be opened and closed electrically. When closed, it functions as a wind deflector.

When the roof is stowed, two movable fins extend from the roof storage compartment, connecting the line from the seatbacks to the rear and creating the Spyder's distinctive silhouette.

Additionally, ducts integrated into the fins minimize wind buffeting when driving with the top down, and two detachable wind guards control lateral air oscillations. These features ensure that conversations can be enjoyed even at high speeds, incorporating refinements for both track and road use.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin after the summer, with the price in Japan set at 35,613,532 yen.
