“V40currently offers gasoline and diesel models. This special edition is based on the 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine model.

It features an HDD navigation system, an official Volvo drive recorder, and "PCC Keyless Drive," which allows for door locking/unlocking and engine starting with the key in your possession. Additionally, it includes the "Volvo Card System (Anti-theft Device)," which allows you to check the status of the in-car security system via the remote key's indicator lamp, and activates an alarm via a movement sensor if any motion is detected inside the car after locking.

Like other grades in the "V40" series, safety features and driver assistance technologies such as "Pedestrian Airbag," "Collision Avoidance and Mitigation System with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection," and "Adaptive Cruise Control with Full Speed Range" are standard.

The 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine produces a maximum output of 112 kW (152 ps) at 5,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm (25.5 kgm) at 1,700-4,000 rpm. It drives the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Body colors include Black, Passion Red, Ice White, and Amazon Blue. Despite incorporating approximately 360,000 yen worth of equipment, the price is kept to 3.49 million yen, an increase of 100,000 yen.
