A Roof Weighing Just 6kg

First Impressions Upon Arrival in Japan,Track Test DriveOPENERS has frequently featured Lamborghini's flagship model, the Aventador, which has been met with critical acclaim worldwide. The production run has already exceeded 1,000 units,with over 1,300 units already delivered to owners.



It has now been revealed that the Aventador will be available as a "Roadster" with a removable roof.



This styling is said to be the result of pursuing performance, elegant design, and a driving experience that satisfies all the senses.



The previous generation, the "Murciélago," featured a soft top for its Roadster variant, which was not particularly well-received. This time, the two-piece carbon fiber roof weighs less than 6kg, is strong, and easy to attach and detach. The removed roof can be stored in the front luggage compartment.



In terms of performance, there appear to be no drawbacks associated with the Roadster conversion. The 0-100 km/h acceleration is 3.0 seconds for the Roadster, compared to 2.9 seconds for the coupe, with a top speed of 350 km/h. Furthermore,as reported at the recent Paris Motor Show,the engine start-stop system and cylinder deactivation technology are also adopted in the Roadster.





The body color palette now includes "Azzuro Thetis," a light blue metallic, inspired by the "Miura Roadster." The interior is luxuriously finished in leather, known as Sabbia Nefertem, befitting an open-top model.



The price is set at 300,000 euros (approximately 30 million yen), compared to the coupe's 255,000 euros. While there has been no official announcement, rumors suggest a launch next summer.
