As the two-tone car trend gains traction in Japan, theThe Beetlealso sees the arrival of a two-tone limited edition.

This limited edition is based on the "The Beetle Design" grade, which comes standard with "Post Collision Brake," a system that decelerates the vehicle to prevent secondary accidents in the event of a collision. By replacing the front grille, rear diffuser, side moldings, door mirrors, and alloy wheels with black components, the car achieves a casual yet striking exterior.

Furthermore, special features such as LED taillights and dark tinted glass, which are not available on the regular "The Beetle Design," are included, creating an even cooler and more distinctive style.

Inside, the dash pad, door trim, and steering wheel trim, along with the center console, are coordinated in the same color as the exterior, accentuating the contrast with the black elements.

Additional features include the genuine infotainment system, ETC 2.0 onboard unit, and 17-inch black alloy wheels.

The powertrain for the base "The Beetle Design" features a 1.2-liter turbo engine producing a maximum output of 77 kW (105 ps) and a maximum torque of 175 Nm (17.8 kgm), paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch (DSG) transmission, driving the front wheels.

A total of 300 units will be sold, with 150 in Pure White and 150 in Tornado Red, priced at 2,999,000 yen.
