Power-to-weight ratio improved to 3.85kg/ps, enhancing performance

The arrival of the "911 Carrera T" was announced, inheriting the lightness, rear-wheel drive, and the "T" for touring from the "911 T" that debuted in 1968. Porsche describes it as "a new model symbolizing the purity of the 911 family."

The engine is the same 3-liter, twin-turbocharged, flat-six engine as the 911 Carrera, producing a maximum output of 272kW (370ps) and a maximum torque of 450Nm. The power-to-weight ratio has been improved to 3.85kg/ps, enhancing performance.

While a manual transmission will be available in its home market, Japan will only offer the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) version. It achieves 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 290km/h.

While based on the 911 Carrera, the exterior is differentiated by its body parts and wheels. The PASM sport chassis, which lowers the ride height by 20mm, has been incorporated, and a front spoiler lip to optimize aerodynamics is equipped at the front. The SportDesign door mirrors are painted in Agate Grey Metallic, and 20-inch Carrera S wheels painted in Titanium Grey are fitted.

At the rear, the rear lid grille and the centrally exiting sport exhaust system with black-painted tailpipes make a striking impression.

The interior also emphasizes sportiness and "purity." The driver's seat features black sport seats, with the 911 logo embroidered on the headrests. Full bucket seats are available as an option.

The GT sport steering wheel with a leather rim allows selection of driving programs using the standard mode switch. The red shift pattern and the shortened shift lever are exclusive to the 911 Carrera T.

Body colors include White and metallic Jet Black, as well as Guards Red, Racing Yellow, and Miami Blue.

Pricing and other details are yet to be determined. We look forward to further updates.
