The Latest "Microbus" with Autonomous Driving
Volkswagen placed the "I.D. BUZZ," slated for market release in 2022, at the center of its booth. The exterior, with its light gray upper half and yellow-green lower half, evokes the classic "Type 2 Microbus," but its power source is a cutting-edge EV model using batteries. It features full autonomous driving capabilities, allowing the driver's seat to rotate 180 degrees for conversations with passengers during the journey. Its impressive practicality, with a 600km range, and sharp acceleration further enhance its appeal.
Also on display is the "Arteon", a 5-door hatchback model equipped with a 2.0-liter engine, showcasing Volkswagen's new facet as a saloon with its expansive 4.9-meter length. The high-performance "up!" model will also be featured.
Among the electrified models available for purchase, the recently released plug-in hybrid "Golf GTE" and "e-Golf" will also be on display. The e-Golf is a fully electric vehicle with a 300km range and seamless acceleration.
