Golf R Performance Features Exclusive Titanium Exhaust System

Two limited edition sport models, enhancing the Golf's performance, have arrived.

The Volkswagen "Golf GTI Performance" is based on the Golf's sporty "Golf GTIGolf GTI" grade, and through dedicated tuning, its 2.0-liter TSI engine delivers an increased maximum output of 15 ps, generating 245 ps. Paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission, this model comes equipped with special features such as an electronically controlled hydraulic front differential lock and larger brake discs.

The exterior is fitted with exclusive 19-inch wheels for the GTI Performance, while the interior features sporty microfiber sport seats, creating a truly special model.

Meanwhile, the "Golf R Performance" is based on the "Golf R," the top-tier 4WD model in the Golf lineup. It features an exclusive titanium exhaust system jointly developed with Akrapovič, one of Europe's largest exhaust manufacturers. The sound is synchronized with the driving profile function.

It also boasts a sporty chassis with perforated brake discs offering excellent heat dissipation, a dedicated brake system using performance brake pads for stable stopping power, and exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels.

The interior offers Nappa leather seats with a carbon-look texture. The exterior also features carbon door mirrors, creating an atmosphere befitting a high-performance model both inside and out.

Sales volume and pricing: The "Golf GTI Performance" is limited to a total of 500 units – 300 in Dark Iron Blue Metallic and 200 in Pure White – priced at 4.56 million yen, approximately 560,000 yen higher than the base model. The "Golf R Performance" is limited to a total of 100 units – 70 in Lapis Blue Metallic and 30 in Turmeric Yellow Metallic – priced at 5.99 million yen.
