Expressing a Future Vision of "Peace of Mind and Enjoyment"
Through its exhibition vehicles and overall booth design, Subaru aims to express its future vision and worldview of "peace of mind and enjoyment," the values it offers to its customers.
Specifically, in addition to the world premiere of the sports sedan concept "VISIV Performance Concept," Subaru will display production models making their debut, such as the WRX STI-based "S208" and the "BRZ STI Sport," highlighting the driving enjoyment unique to Subaru and the expanding use of the STI brand.
The "VISIV Performance Concept" embodies a future vision of safety through the integration of advanced driver-assistance technologies centered on Subaru's proprietary "EyeSight" system. It also expresses driving enjoyment with a sports sedan style based on the company's design philosophy of "Dynamic x Solid." This marks its world premiere.
The "S208," co-developed with STI, is described as "the ultimate driving car expressing the highest performance and quality in the S series history." Compared to the 2015 S207, it features improved engine output and acceleration, along with a carbon roof for a lower center of gravity, pushing driving enjoyment to the extreme. It is planned for a limited lottery sale of 450 units.
In addition, Subaru will exhibit the "BRZ STI Sport" (limited to 100 units in Cool Gray Khaki Edition, lottery sale), the "Legacy Outback Limited Smart Edition," the "XV Fun Adventure Concept," the "Impreza Future Sport Concept," and vehicles participating in Super GT, among others.
