New Body Colors Introduced for the Golf Touran

This is the second installment of the special editionreleased in June this year, the "Golf Touran TSI Comfortline Tech Edition 2." Its distinguishing feature is the further addition of safety and comfort equipment compared to the previous model.

Newly incorporated features include "Side Assist Plus" for safe lane changes, "Rear Traffic Alert" for checking rear safety when exiting a parking space, and seat heaters. In addition to these, the "Park Assist" and power tailgate with remote control from the first edition are also included, along with "Park Distance Control" with a collision mitigation brake function, as in the previous model.

The base vehicle is the Golf Touran TSI Comfortline, powered by a 1.4-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine producing a maximum output of 110 kW (150 ps) and a maximum torque of 250 Nm (25.5 kgm). This is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission (DSG).

The available body colors and sales quantities are limited to 300 units in total: 150 units in Atlantic Blue Metallic and 150 units in Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl Effect, a new color for the Touran. The price is ¥3,865,000.
