Panamera Sport Turismo Adds Turbo S E-Hybrid


Porsche is adding the most powerful combination of turbo and electric power to its shooting brake model, the Panamera Sport Turismo, which made its world premiere in March: the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo.

Unprecedented Acceleration Meets Fuel Efficiency


Porsche's latest model,Panamera Sport Turismohas welcomed the arrival of its most powerful model, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, which combines a turbo and hybrid powertrain.


The powertrain features a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing a maximum output of 404 kW (550 PS), combined with an electric motor delivering 100 kW (136 PS) for a system maximum output of 500 kW (680 PS). Maximum torque is 850 Nm, available from just 1,400 rpm.

This immense power, controlled by a boost program inherited from Porsche's hybrid supercar,918 Spyderthe dual-clutch 8-speed PDK, is transmitted to all four wheels via the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system. The result is a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.4 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 8.5 seconds, with a top speed of 310 km/h.


Meanwhile, fuel consumption in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) is an impressive 3.0 L/100 km (approximately 33.3 km/L), befitting a plug-in hybrid. The 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery allows for electric-only driving up to approximately 49 km and a top speed of 140 km/h. Charging from a power outlet takes 2.4 to 6.0 hours, depending on the equipment.

Equipped with a 3-Stage Active Rear Spoiler


As the top model of the Panamera Sport Turismo, the Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo comes standard with numerous features, including the digital Porsche Advanced Cockpit, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Rear Axle Steering. The roof spoiler automatically adjusts its angle in three positions: -7 degrees as standard, +1 degree at high speeds, and +26 degrees when the panoramic sliding roof is open to reduce wind noise.

Additional standard equipment includes Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport), Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), 21-inch wheels in a 911 Turbo design, Power Steering Plus, the Sport Chrono package, and auxiliary climate control.


Despite its high performance, the convenience of the Sport Turismo remains uncompromised, offering more rear headroom than the Panamera and a luggage space of 425 liters as standard, expandable to 1,295 liters by folding the 40:20:40 split rear seats.
