A GT Model with a 6-Speed Manual Transmission and No Rear Wing

Porsche's911 GT3The distinctive name "Touring Package" for the 911 GT3 is rooted in the equipment specification of the 1973 "911 Carrera RS" (the so-called 73 Carrera).

Even then, the concept was centered on pure 911 design and a traditional interior. The "911 GT3 Touring Package" is its modern interpretation, developed for sports car enthusiasts who value a discreet appearance and traditional driving pleasure.

A key feature of the 911 GT3 Touring Package is its discreet exterior, achieved by equipping the 6-speed manual transmission model with the variable rear spoiler from the 911 Carrera, replacing the prominent fixed rear wing found on the standard GT3.

The spoiler's wing section includes body-colored Gurney flaps, and the specially designed rear lid grille bears "GT3 touring" lettering. Otherwise, the body is largely identical to the 911 GT3, with a large front air intake, the characteristic air outlet in front of the luggage compartment for GT3 models, and striking 20-inch center-lock forged alloy wheels on the sides.

Interior Evokes Traditional Sports Car Ambiance

To create the ambiance of a traditional sports car with a manual transmission, the interior extensively uses high-quality leather instead of Alcantara. The steering wheel rim with a 12 o'clock marker, shift lever, door panel armrests, inner door handles, and center console box are unified in sleek black smooth leather, complemented by sports seats with black fabric centers.

The powertrain and chassis are identical to the 911 GT3 MT model. The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine mounted at the rear incorporates racing technology from models like the "911 RSR" and "911 GT3 Cup." It boasts the largest displacement for a flat-six engine in a road-legal Porsche and is an exceptional high-revving unit capable of reaching 9,000 rpm.

Specifications include a maximum output of 368 kW (500 hp) at 8,250 rpm and peak torque of 460 Nm at 6,000 rpm. With optimal manual shifting, it achieves 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds (same as the GT3) and a top speed of 316 km/h (320 km/h for the GT3).

The gear ratios of the 6-speed transmission have been optimally adjusted to match the engine output, and pressing the "Sport" button on the center console enables quick shifts synchronized with engine revs.

Furthermore, the chassis features an active rear-axle steering system, which enhances agility and stability by steering the rear wheels in the same or opposite phase as the front wheels depending on speed.

On the connectivity front, in addition to the PCM (Porsche Communication Management) with online navigation and real-time traffic information, it also includes the Connect Plus module and the Track Precision app, which display, record, and analyze detailed driving data on a smartphone, doubling the enjoyment of track driving.
