4-Liter Naturally Aspirated Engine Derived from the 911 GT3 Cup

Porsche has unveiled the new "911 GT3," equipped with the latest features found in other 911 models. It is a sports model that is road-legal yet capable of serious circuit performance.

The engine is a 4-liter, naturally aspirated, flat-six unit, largely adopted from the "911 GT3 Cup," a pure racing machine for the circuit. It delivers a maximum output of 368kW (500ps). With a vehicle weight of 1,430kg, the power-to-weight ratio reaches 3.88kW/kW (2.86kg/ps).

The standard transmission is a 7-speed PDK, achieving 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 318km/h. A 6-speed manual transmission is also available, with specifications of 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 320km/h.

Like the latest 911 family, the new 911 GT3 features active rear axle steering. Combined with dynamic engine mounts, a rear differential lock, and a ride height lowered by 25mm compared to the 911 Carrera S, the active rear axle steering contributes to exceptional handling characteristics.

The interior features a 360mm GT sports steering wheel, derived from the918 Spyder"918 Spyder," and Sport Seat Plus with enhanced side support as standard. While the standard seats offer manual fore-aft adjustment and electric height and backrest adjustment, further options include fully electric Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Sport Bucket Seats with a fold-back backrest and integrated thorax airbag, and CFRP full bucket seats.

The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system on the center console is equipped with the Connect Plus module and the Track Precision app, enabling detailed driving data display and analysis on a smartphone.

Reservations for the new 911 GT3 will open in Japan on April 6th, with a price of 21.15 million yen, available only in left-hand drive. Production for the optional manual transmission specification is scheduled to begin in the fall.
