Limited Production: 200 Coupes, 50 Cabrios

This year in Japan,the recently updated smart for twosees the arrival of a performance model crafted by Brabus, Mercedes-Benz's premier tuner. While it is the smallest car Brabus has ever worked on, it fully embodies their philosophy.

The powertrain features a 1-liter, 3-cylinder DOHC engine. It boasts a maximum output of 75kW (102ps) at 6,000rpm, approximately 44 percent higher than the base "smart for two mhd," and delivers a peak torque of 147Nm (15.0kgm) between 2,500 and 3,600rpm.

In conjunction with the increased output, the transmission's clutch capacity has been enlarged and strengthened. The gear shift speed for 1st through 4th gear has been reduced by 20 percent, enabling more direct and rapid gear changes.

Furthermore, the suspension has been tuned to match the enhanced power, utilizing a dedicated setup. The front is equipped with 175-section 16-inch tires, while the rear features exceptionally wide 225-section 17-inch tires.



The exterior styling is aggressive and sharp, featuring a new design for the front grille, Brabus-exclusive front spoiler, side and rear skirts, and 6-twin-spoke aluminum wheels. Available colors are Deep Black and Crystal White.

Inside, the interior offers a sporty and luxurious ambiance characteristic of Brabus, with leather seats, a dashboard accented with grey stitching, and a shift knob made from aluminum and leather.

Pricing and availability are set at 2.72 million yen for the coupe, limited to 200 units, and 2.96 million yen for the cabrio, limited to 50 units.
