A Color Combining Satin and Matte Characteristics

Peugeot has previously unveiled bold exteriors, including striking two-tone colors, for the208model. Now, they have announced a limited edition featuring a matte finish that evokes the texture of ice, applied to the sporty "208 GT Line."

The "208 GT Line Ice Edition" is available in two new colors: "Ice White" and "Ice Silver." Both feature a finish that combines satin and matte properties. Peugeot states that the surface has a light granular texture, making it more durable than typical matte finishes and easier to maintain.

Further exterior details include a front grille with a symbolic red logo, GT Line badging, and exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior features combination leather and fabric seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen. Safety equipment includes rear parking sensors.

The powertrain matching this sporty exterior is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo engine, producing a maximum output of 81 kW (110 hp) and a peak torque of 205 Nm (20.9 kgm). This is paired with a 6-speed EAT automatic transmission.

Despite the special paintwork, the price remains the same as the base GT Line model at 2.59 million yen. Production is limited to 240 units.
