Achieved Twice as Fast as the Murciélago
The Aventador is produced at the Sant'Agata Bolognese factory, which also houses the company headquarters. It is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine generating 700ps and is equipped with numerous electronic devices, making it the most powerful and latest Lamborghini ever. Its cumulative production has now surpassed 1,000 units, with a price tag close to 40 million yen in Japan.
The "Arges Orange" Aventador, bearing chassis number "1,000" and fresh off the production line, was photographed with factory staff before its keys were handed over to the German owner by CEO Stephan Winkelmann himself.

The Aventador reached 1,000 units in production just 1 year and 3 months after its production began. In contrast, its predecessor, the flagship Murciélago, took 2 years and 5 months to manufacture 1,000 units. This means the Aventador achieved this milestone in approximately half the time, indicating a dramatic improvement in production efficiency at the Sant'Agata Bolognese factory.
The Aventador, which has received 36 awards worldwide, currently has a backlog of orders for 1.5 years. With a 1.5-year backlog also announced in March of this year, its immense popularity shows no signs of waning. The Sant'Agata Bolognese factory appears set to continue operating at full capacity for the foreseeable future.
