A Special Limited Edition for Japan Arrives for the Passat Variant

Volkswagen Group Japan has announced the "Voyage," a special limited edition of the "Passat Variant" exclusively for the Japanese market, and has commenced sales.

LED Headlights and Genuine Navigation Included as Standard

The "Passat" is positioned as a mid-class model within Volkswagen's lineup. It underwent a model change last July.8th Generation PassatLast month, it introduced the "Passat GTE" Passat GTE, the series' first PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid), expanding its diverse lineup.

Now, a special limited edition exclusively for Japan, the "Passat Variant Voyage," has arrived for the Passat's station wagon model, the "Passat Variant." This model is based on the "Passat Variant TSI Comfortline," an intermediate grade. The powertrain remains the same as the base model, combining a 1.4-liter TSI engine with a 7-speed DSG.

The "Voyage" comes standard with options such as Volkswagen's genuine infotainment system "Discover Pro" package and the LED headlight package. Furthermore, it is equipped with "Car Window Film" featuring UV protection, making it an ideal choice for the upcoming season with its strong sunlight.

As the name "Voyage" suggests, Volkswagen explains that this model is "a station wagon that allows you to actively enjoy the outdoors and leisure, thanks to the synergy of its spacious and comfortable interior, and its vast luggage space, which are the car's inherent charms."

A total of 250 units will be available: 25 in "Pure White," 45 in "Deep Black Pearl Effect," 60 in "Harbour Blue Metallic," 60 in "Tungsten Silver Metallic," 15 in "Night Blue Metallic," 35 in "Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl Effect," and 10 in "Crimson Red Metallic."

The vehicle price is 3.89 million yen, approximately 100,000 yen more than the base model. Please note that the "Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl Effect" and "Crimson Red Metallic" body colors are optional extras.
