A Grand Entrance with the LFA

The rain that had worried us until the day before cleared, and approximately 300 influencers and invited guests gathered at the special venue in Odaiba, including interior designer Masamichi Katayama, book selector Mototaka Haba, calligrapher Shishu, and producer Masato Ochi. The dress code was "White," and everyone was dressed in a way that emphasized white.

At the venue entrance, three of Lexus's super sports cars, the "LFA," greeted guests. Upon entering, the "LF-LC," which made its world premiere at the Detroit Show in January, caught the eye with its red paint accented in silver and its assertive body. This "LF-LC," of which there is currently only one in the world, was making its first appearance in Japan.

As soon as Master of Ceremonies Chris Pepper announced the opening, an "LFA" made a spectacular turn onto the special track (circuit) that occupied half the venue. Following this, a second LFA appeared on the track and put on an even more dazzling performance. Stepping out of the driver's seat of the LFA, which was spewing white smoke from its rear wheels and dancing with brilliant drift techniques, was none other than President Akio Toyoda himself. Beside him in the passenger seat was Lexus Ambassador Riyo Mori.

The subsequent demo run featuring three LFAs was breathtaking. Their unrestricted movement across the special track, synchronized with music, resembled a figure skating performance. The squealing tires and white smoke heightened the atmosphere, underscoring the spectacle.

In addition, events such as passenger ride experiences in the Lexus GS with top racing drivers and a mini-live performance by the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra allowed attendees to participate and enjoy themselves. The passionate summer night for adults, hosted by Lexus, was a resounding success.
