Thorough Weight Reduction and Aerodynamic Efficiency

"SVR" is a designation for high-performance models designed and developed by Jaguar Land Rover's "SVO (Special Vehicle Operations)." While already introduced in the "Range Rover Sport SVR", this is the first introduction for a Jaguar model.

The body styles are available as a coupe and a convertible. The engine is a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged to produce a maximum output of 575 ps and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic, and the drivetrain is an all-wheel-drive system with torque-on-demand, "IDD (Intelligent Driveline Dynamics)."

Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is 3.7 seconds. The top speed reaches 322 km/h for the coupe and 314 km/h for the convertible. However, to achieve this, the "Dynamic" mode must be selected, and the switch on the wing must be held for 3 seconds to change to "V-Max" mode. At maximum speed, the wing retracts to reduce air resistance, while other aerodynamic features such as the front spoiler work in conjunction to improve the drag coefficient by 2.5 percent and reduce lift by 45 percent.

To achieve high driving performance, weight reduction through milligram-level savings and increased rigidity have been implemented. Equipped with newly designed suspension, dedicated 20-inch forged alloy wheels, and a special exhaust system using titanium and Inconel alloy, it is significantly lighter than the standard model. The quad-pipe exhaust system also features the "switchable active exhaust system" as standard, which allows sound variation through manual operation of the bypass valve within the exhaust system.

The interior is equipped with seats featuring "SVR" badges and a leather steering wheel. The seats have a quilting finish, achieving a balance of luxury and sporty ambiance.

The prices announced were 17.79 million yen for the coupe and 19.36 million yen for the convertible.
