Flagship Three Models Upgraded
Volkswagen Group Japan has upgraded its three flagship models: the Polo, Golf, and Golf Variant. New entry-grade trims have been introduced, and equipment levels have been enhanced.

Safety and Comfort Features Expanded
These upgrades to Volkswagen's three core models are guided by the new brand slogan, "Think People." The enhancements focus on safety and comfort features, effectively resulting in lower prices.
PoloThe Polo now features a new entry-grade "TSI Trendline" priced under 2 million yen. The "TSI Comfortline" gains a multifunction steering wheel with audio controls and a rain sensor, among other additions. All other grades also receive new equipment.
For the Golf, theGTIandR, and the plug-in hybridGTE, while their specifications remain unchanged, the entry-grade "TSI Trendline" is now strategically priced at 2,499,000 yen, 160,000 yen less than before. Even the "TSI Comfortline," with added features like lane-keeping assist, is priced at 2,809,000 yen, approximately 70,000 yen cheaper.
The station wagon,Golf Variant, sees its entry-grade "TSI Comfortline" priced at 2,949,000 yen, undercutting 3 million yen while including lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control as standard. The higher-grade "TSI Highline" andR-Line, which come standard with the "Blind Spot Detection" rear-view monitoring system, have seen a price reduction of 60,000 yen.
Prices start at 1,999,000 yen for the Polo, with the top-tier "GTI" grade featuring a 7-speed DSG transmission priced at 3,379,000 yen. For the Golf, prices range from 2,499,000 yen, with the most powerful "R" at 5,499,000 yen. The Golf Variant starts at 2,949,000 yen, with the "R" priced at 5,599,000 yen.
