The 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine produces a maximum output of 270 kW (367 ps) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm (51.0 kgm). It is paired with an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission, achieving the best fuel economy in the S-Class Coupe lineup at 10.6 km/ℓ under the JC08 mode.

Safety and comfort features are on par with the higher-grade S 550 4MATIC Coupe, including "DISTRONIC PLUS" with steering assist, which automatically maintains an optimal distance from the vehicle ahead and supports lane keeping.

Optional features include the "AMG Line," which adds a sporty touch to the interior and exterior, as well as specialized LED High Performance headlights with 47 Swarovski crystals on each side, and the "Leather Exclusive Package" which enhances the luxurious feel with nappa leather featuring parallel stitching.

The steering wheel is positioned on the left side only. The price is ¥14.77 million, which is ¥2.63 million less than the higher-grade "S 550 Coupe."
