15-inch 10-spoke Alloy Wheels: A First for Japan

The "jeans up!" is based on the four-door "move up!", the smallest model in the Volkswagen lineup.up!The engine is a 1.0-liter inline 3-cylinder turbo, delivering a maximum output of 55 kW (75 ps) and peak torque of 95 Nm (9.7 kgm).

Equipment includes the City Emergency Brake, which operates below 30 km/h and is standard on all grades, as well as cruise control, a leather steering wheel, and a leather handbrake, features also found on the higher-grade "high up!".

As the name suggests, all seats feature denim-style fabric. Furthermore, the interior is coordinated with brown stitching on the steering wheel and handbrake.

The exterior is available in the special Pure White color, not offered on the base model. It is further enhanced by 15-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, a first for Japan, and fog lamps with chrome surrounds, along with body-colored door mirrors.

A limited run of 300 units will be produced. The price is ¥1,939,000, approximately ¥180,000 higher than the four-door "move up!" model.
