Now features AMG styling package and more as standard, evolving to be sportier

Mercedes-Benz Japan announced on May 21st that it has partially revised and commenced sales of the two-door "E-Class Coupe" and the four-seater open-top model "E-Class Cabriolet."

New "Radar Safety Package" also available

Currently, the E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are offered in three grades: the "E250 BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe" with a 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder direct-injection turbo engine and a 7-speed automatic transmission; the "E350 BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe/Cabriolet" equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine; and the "E550 BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe" with a 4.7-liter V8 biturbo direct-injection engine.

For the current revisions, the "E250 Coupe" and "E350 Coupe/Cabriolet" now come standard with the "AMG Styling Package," which modifies the front spoiler, side, and rear skirts, as well as the "Dynamic Handling Package" and paddle shifters. Additionally, the "E250 Coupe" features 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and dark aluminum interior trim as standard, creating a sportier ambiance. The "E350 Coupe/Cabriolet" is equipped with 18-inch AMG five twin-spoke alloy wheels.

The "E550 BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe" now includes the "AMG Sports Package," which adds stainless steel accelerator and brake pedals, and an AMG sports steering wheel in Nappa leather, along with 18-inch AMG five twin-spoke alloy wheels as standard, signifying a sportier evolution.

Furthermore, with the standard inclusion of the AMG Styling Package, the contents of the AMG Sports Package have been reviewed, and the prices revised. The E250 Coupe is now priced at ¥200,000 less, and the E350 Coupe/Cabriolet at ¥300,000 less, making them more accessible.

In addition, the "Radar Safety Package," a preventative safety system that detects obstacles such as vehicles ahead and to the side using radar waves and automatically applies the brakes to reduce the risk of collision, has been newly introduced as an option.

Prices are as follows: "E250 Coupe" at ¥6,690,000, "E350 Coupe" at ¥8,750,000, "E550 Coupe" at ¥11,100,000, and "E350 Cabriolet" at ¥9,230,000.
