The smart for two coupe mhd is a micro-compact car with a unique 2-seater package, measuring just 2,720mm in length, and a playful design. It condenses Mercedes-level comfort and safety, along with environmental performance features like the mhd (micro-hybrid drive) idle-stop system.

This special edition introduces white for the first time in Japan for the tridion safety cell, the car's distinctive structural element. The exterior, including the front grille and door mirror covers, is uniformly pure white.

The interior adopts a vibrant red, creating a simple, modern aesthetic with a striking contrast between red and white.

The powertrain features a 1-liter DOHC inline 3-cylinder engine, producing a maximum output of 52kW (71ps) at 5,800rpm and a maximum torque of 92Nm (9.4kgm) at 2,800rpm. With a fuel economy of 23.5km/l in the 10・15 mode, it is also eligible for the eco-car subsidy of 100,000 yen.

Despite including popular options such as 15-inch 6-spoke alloy wheels with wide tires, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors, and a luggage compartment cover, the price remains unchanged from the base model at 1.84 million yen. Deliveries are scheduled to begin around mid-May.
