A More Dynamic Appearance

This facelift aims for a more dynamic exterior.
The radiator grille is wider, the side profile more powerful, and the front and rear bumper shapes have been slightly altered. The chrome logo has moved above the black radiator grille, seemingly to make the smart fortwo's own logo, now an icon in cities worldwide, more prominent.

While the exterior is the primary focus of changes, the interior has also seen some refinements. The seats and door trims now feature a mix of leather and fabric, and the instrument panel is covered in black faux leather.

Model variations remain the same: Pure, Pulse, Passion, Brabus, and Brabus Exclusive. Customers can choose between the cabriolet "Cabrio" and the hardtop coupe. A matte ink black has been added as a body color for all models, with white available for the Brabus Exclusive. The soft top for the Cabrio comes in three standard colors – black, red, and blue – while Brabus models offer a choice of six different soft top colors.

The engine lineup includes two gasoline models with an idling stop function, referred to as microhybrid, and two turbocharged models. There is also a turbodiesel engine model and an EV model. While its introduction to Japan is undecided, prices in Europe start from 10,275 euros for the most basic 45kW mhd.
