Hinting at the Future of Sports Coupes
Lexus continues to update its teasers for a new concept model. Today, its exterior has been almost fully revealed, and the model name, "Lexus LF-LC," has also been announced.
The windshield is steeply raked, and the roof is equipped with a panoramic glass roof. It boasts an aggressive coupe style with a long nose and short deck, and the front grille appears to feature the bold, wedge-shaped single-frame grille that was the most distinctive feature of the "LF-Gh" unveiled at the New York Auto Show in April 2011.
Information regarding engine specifications, dimensions, and all other numerical data remains shrouded in mystery. However, the "HYBRID" badge attached near the rear wheels suggests the incorporation of a hybrid system.
Mark Templin, Lexus Group Vice President and General Manager, stated, "The LF-LC, developed from a blank slate, was created with the fusion of the latest technology and organic elements in mind to unify the driver and the car. The resulting beautiful proportions not only appeal to driving performance but also suggest the future of sports coupes."
We look forward to further updates.
