Lexus HS Receives Minor Updates

Lexus has made minor updates to its hybrid-exclusive compact sedan, the HS, including the addition of new body colors. Sales began on August 27th.

Door Mirrors Updated for Lexus Brand Consistency

Minor enhancements have been made to the HS, the most compact sedan in the Lexus lineup available in Japan. Two new body colors, Deep Blue Mica and Amber Crystal Shine, have been added. All ten available body colors now feature "Self-Restoring Coat," a clear coat that can repair minor scratches on its own.

The door mirrors have been replaced with units featuring a design consistent with the Lexus brand, aiming to unify the exterior appearance alongside the spindle grille.

The navigation system has been updated to an SD card-based unit. Additionally, G-Link now includes the "Agent" voice-command and predictive information service, as well as "LEXUS Apps" for adding external applications.

While the hybrid powertrain remains unchanged, the suspension settings and steering gear ratio have been modified to enhance steering response and stability.

The new HS250h, like its predecessor, is available in Standard, Version C, Version I, and Version L trims, with prices ranging from 4,244,000 to 5,705,000 yen.
