Aventador SV Gets a Roadster Model
Lamborghini unveiled the open-top "Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster" at Monterey Car Week on the U.S. West Coast.

Emotional Driving Meets Open-Air Freedom
At the Monterey Car Week currently underway in California, Lamborghini globally premiered the "Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce (SV) Roadster." This follows the model announced at the Geneva Motor Show this March.Aventador LP750-4 SuperveloceThis is the open-top version.
The engine is the same as in the coupe,Aventador LP700-4a refined 6.5-liter V12, delivering a maximum output of 552kW (750ps) at 8,400rpm and peak torque of 690Nm at 5,500rpm, as indicated by the model name. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds, just 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe, with an identical top speed of 350km/h.
The adoption of a 7-speed ISR single-clutch semi-automatic transmission and "magnetorheological suspension" combining magnetic fluid dampers also followsAventador LP750-4 SVthe precedent.
Compared to the Aventador LP700-4 Roadster, which served as the base, the dry weight has been reduced by 50kg to 1,575kg. As a result, the power-to-weight ratio is an impressive 2.1kg/ps.
The Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster features a power window behind the seats, which can be opened to channel engine sound directly into the cockpit. Additionally, the carbon fiber roof can be removed in two sections and stored in the luggage compartment.
The Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster, the first model to bear the "Superveloce" designation as an open-top car, will be sold in a limited run of just 500 units worldwide, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the first half of 2016.
Prices were announced as €357,000 (just under 50 million yen) before tax in Europe, and $530,075 (just under 66 million yen) in the United States.
