XF 3.0 Luxury Priced at ¥5.95 Million, Down ¥550,000

The XF, popular for its coupe-like flowing styling and Jaguar's signature powerful yet supple ride, is about to launch its 2012 model, which has undergone its first major minor change since its debut.

The exterior features sharper, newly sculpted HID xenon headlamps, along with a more muscular evolution of the grille and bonnet, giving it a face reminiscent of the "C-XF" concept model unveiled before the XF's birth. The front bumper and rear skirt adopt different designs for the standard and R models. The rear taillights have been extended to the upper center of the trunk lid and incorporate a newly designed rear garnish.

Inside, the steering wheel design has been refreshed, and the instrument panel display has been altered, creating a more luxurious atmosphere.

Pricing sees the "3.0 Luxury" with its 3.0-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine set at ¥5.95 million, a strategic ¥550,000 reduction from the 2011 model. The "3.0 Premium Luxury" is ¥6.94 million, the "5.0 Premium Luxury" with a 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine is ¥8.29 million, and the "XFR" with a 5.0-liter V8 engine and supercharger is ¥12 million. All models feature a 6-speed automatic transmission.
