Price in Japan Exceeds 40 Million Yen!

The Aventador LP 700-4, a supercar that ushers in a new era for Lamborghini, has finally gone on sale in Japan.

In an era where environmental concerns are paramount, engines are being downsized, and even Porsche is releasing a new 911 with CO2 emissions below 200g/km, Lamborghini has unveiled its latest flagship, powered by a newly developed 6.5-liter, 60-degree V12 engine.

This engine features a short stroke with a bore of 95mm and stroke of 76.4mm, resulting in a remarkably compact design: 784mm in length, 665mm in height including intake systems, and only 848mm even with exhaust components. The engine weight is also exceptionally light for a V12 at 235kg. With a compression ratio of 11.8:1, it produces a maximum output of 515kW (700ps) and a peak torque of 690Nm (70.4kgm). Furthermore, CO2 emissions have been improved by 20 percent compared to the Murciélago, reaching 398g/km.

The body utilizes a carbon fiber monocoque, combining lightweight engineering with the highest levels of rigidity and safety, achieving a dry weight of 1,575kg. Even with fluids, the vehicle weighs just 1,790kg. Paired with the ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) transmission, which enables lightning-fast shifts in just 0.05 seconds, the Aventador boasts a top speed of 350km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in a mere 2.9 seconds. Additionally, features like pushrod suspension give it the characteristics of a racing car.

The interior is more futuristic than ever, equipped with high-tech features such as a TFT cockpit display with a drive select mode system. The Aventador LP 700-4, which went on sale September 26th, is priced at 41,002,500 yen. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in November.
