The ultimate Gallardo model: a road-legal racing machine, limited to 150 units!
Automobili Lamborghini unveiled the ultimate top-tier model of the Gallardo series, the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Features "Thrust Mode" for maximum acceleration with minimal wheelspin
Positioned at the pinnacle of the Gallardo series, the LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale is based on the machine used in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Championship, one of the world's fastest single-make racing series. The racing and road versions share many commonalities, making it a fitting description as a racing machine for the road.
The engine is fundamentally the same as in the racing version. The V10 unit, mounted in the rear mid-ship, produces a maximum output of 419kW (570ps) at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 540Nm at 6,500rpm. The transmission is also the same e-gear 6-speed robotized gearbox found in the racing version, with shift operations performed via paddles on the steering wheel. To maximize performance from a standstill, this model is programmed with a "Thrust Mode" that sets the engine speed to approximately 5,000rpm at launch, achieving maximum acceleration with minimal wheelspin.
Fire extinguisher available as an option for circuit use
The suspension features double wishbones made of aluminum on all four wheels. The 19-inch forged aluminum rims contribute to weight reduction, successfully shedding 13kg from the wheels alone. Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires are fitted. Naturally, the braking system has also been enhanced, with aluminum calipers—8-piston at the front and 4-piston at the rear—and brake disc diameters of 365mm at the front and 356mm at the rear. Carbon-ceramic brakes are available as an option, featuring 380mm front discs. Furthermore, options geared towards circuit use include a tubular frame roll cage, 4-point seatbelts, and a fire extinguisher.
Arrow-like acceleration: 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds
The exterior is distinguished by a rear spoiler identical to that of the racing version. It generates three times the downforce of the Gallardo LP560-4, dramatically improving stability in tight and high-speed sections. The quick-release removable engine hood is another component derived from circuit feedback. Additionally, various body components are constructed from carbon composite materials.
As a result, the dry weight is an astonishing 1,340kg, a further 70kg less than the LP560-4. The power-to-weight ratio achieves 2.35kg/hp, enabling a 0-100km/h acceleration of 3.4 seconds. The top speed reaches 320km/h.
The color is a new shade, Rosso Mars, said to replicate the racing red of motorsport's early days when body colors were assigned by country. For the first time in Lamborghini's history, the brake calipers are also painted red. The interior is unified in black and red, with extensive use of Alcantara and lightweight carbon fiber.
