Unified in Black

The Porsche brand's iconic model, the911 Carrera, and the open-top two-seaterBoxster, now feature the Black Edition special specification model with added equipment.

As the name suggests, both models feature a unified black interior and exterior. Additionally, auto-dimming mirrors, rain sensors, cruise control, and a SportDesign steering wheel are standard.

The 911 Carrera Black Edition is based on four models: the "911 Carrera" and its open-top "911 Carrera Cabriolet," each powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing 350 hp (275 kW), as well as their all-wheel-drive counterparts, the "911 Carrera 4" and "911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet." In addition to the standard Black Edition equipment, these models feature 20-inch 911 Turbo wheels, LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, heated sports seats, and a ParkAssist system with a rearview camera.

The Boxster Black Edition also features a black soft-top and black rollover protection bars behind the seats. In addition to the shared equipment, it includes 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels, bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, and the Sound Package Plus.

Orders for both models will begin on Thursday, June 25th. Prices start at 7.31 million yen (MT) and 7.88 million yen (PDK) for the Boxster. The 911 Carrera is priced at 12.39 million yen (MT) and 13.16 million yen (PDK), while the Carrera 4 is 13.53 million yen (MT) and 14.30 million yen (PDK). The Carrera Cabriolet is available only with PDK for 14.71 million yen, and the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 Cabriolet is 15.53 million yen. Both left- and right-hand drive configurations are available for all models.
