Silver Accents Add Charm

The Smart, a micro-compact car known for its unique sub-three-meter, two-seater package, exceptional maneuverability, enjoyable handling, and Mercedes-level safety, now welcomes the special edition "smart fortwo pearlgrey."

The exterior boasts a striking contrast with its dedicated graphite metallic color, silver Tridion safety cell (the body's outer frame), and double-spoke alloy wheels. The mirror caps and radiator grille are also painted in metallic, while the mirror covers feature "pearlgrey" logos.

A Harmonious Interior Space

The interior exudes an elegant and unified atmosphere. Seats combine crystal grey leather and fabric, while the black dashboard and grey knee pads use synthetic leather. Additional special features include a clock and tachometer, audio system, limited edition floor mats with logos, power windows, automatic climate control with temperature adjustment, a panoramic roof, and a sunshade. Optional features include heated seats, the Smart Surround Sound system, and the Smart Audio system/navigation/multimedia.

It is available in two body styles: coupe and cabriolet. Models include the mhd (micro hybrid drive) with a maximum output of 52kW and a model equipped with 62kW.

The local price starts at 14,490 Euros. Reservations opened on July 21, 2011, with deliveries to dealerships scheduled for November 2011.

Announced for limited release in Japan on February 3, 2012.
