Kanagawa Prefecture's First Showroom
"Maserati Minatomirai," the 15th Maserati dealership in Japan, is the first showroom in Kanagawa Prefecture. Located on the first floor of the Minatomirai Center Building, directly connected to Minatomirai Station, it boasts excellent accessibility, just a 2-minute drive from the Shuto Expressway Minatomirai exit.
The 170-square-meter interior is designed with a sophisticated palette of white and blue, creating an elegant atmosphere befitting a luxury sports brand. The spacious showroom can display three cars at a time, and a comfortable VIP lounge is also available on the third floor.
Blue Trident plans to position "Maserati Minatomirai" as a "showcase" and open a second location in Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama City, by January 2012, offering new and used cars as well as service.

BRAND HISTORY
While there are several places in the world known as "sacred grounds for sports cars," few are as fitting as the province of Modena in Italy. This is because within Modena lie both Ferrari and Maserati, both under the Fiat umbrella. If Maranello is for Ferrari, then Modena, the provincial capital, is the birthplace of Maserati.
The Trident emblem, a three-pronged spear, is inspired by the statue of Neptune, a symbol of Bologna, and signifies that Maserati's history began in Bologna. The foundation was laid by the Maserati brothers, born between 1881 and 1898. Most of them would become involved in automobiles, with Alfieri Maserati, the fourth son (the third was also named Alfieri but died shortly after birth), playing a central role. His career began as a racing driver, but after many twists and turns, he founded Officine Alfieri Maserati in 1926. Alfieri himself took the wheel of the "Tipo26" bearing the Trident, competing in the Targa Florio and achieving a superb class victory in its debut race.
In 1929, the "V4" set a world speed record of 246.029 km/h, and the Maserati name became widely known. Subsequently, Maserati etched its name into Grand Prix history through the exploits of renowned drivers like Tazio Nuvolari. However, in 1937, the ownership changed to Adolfo Orsi, and the following year, 1938, the company moved its headquarters to the current location in Modena. From here until 1957, the company's motorsport activities entered a golden age. The pinnacle of this era was the F1 series title won by the great Juan Manuel Fangio in the "250F" in 1957. Yet, in the same year, Maserati concluded its works racing activities, solidifying its position as a sports car manufacturer with models like the "3500GT" in 1958, the "Ghibli" in 1966, and the "Bora" in 1971.
Carrying on the tradition of sports car manufacturing to this day are the two-door coupe "GranTurismo" and the four-door sedan "Quattroporte." They convey to us the allure of Italian sports cars, distinct from Ferrari.
