Expressing Fujiwara's Sensibility and Maserati's Challenge for a New Era
The partnership between Maserati and Hiroshi Fujiwara, a pioneer of streetwear, dates back to the global launch of "Maserati meets Fragment" held in Tokyo in June 2020.
At this event, two contrasting Ghibli special editions, "Opera Nera" and "Opera Bianca," newly created by Fujiwara, were unveiled using Maserati Fuoriserie, the customization program that allows for unique Maserati orders tailored to personal preferences.
And this autumn, the "Fragment meets Maserati" limited capsule collection, which is being rolled out globally, was launched. The collection, a fusion of Fujiwara's bold yet refined style and Maserati's daring spirit, features the symbols of both brands and includes hoodies, T-shirts, and baseball caps.
This capsule collection expresses the "godfather" of streetwear's ongoing exploration as a cultural disruptor, in collaboration with the Trident brand. It reflects his sensibility towards contemporary street culture and Maserati's challenging spirit for a new era.
