Two images have been released, one of a portion of the front fascia and another of the rear combination lamps, for a model called the Lexus LF-Gh. Many may recognize the name, as this is the de facto successor to the Lexus GS, the luxury sports sedan that has continued the lineage from the Toyota Aristo, and it is a hybrid vehicle. The name LF-Gh is said to stand for Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid.

Although only a part of the front fascia is visible, it features a highly assertive design. According to Lexus, this concept model indicates the future direction of Lexus design. In particular, the bold "spindle" front grille, which is said to become the new face of Lexus, adopts the single-frame grille trend of recent years. It features straight-line cuts, narrows at the top of the bumper, and then flares out.

According to Lexus, it boldly evolves L-finesse, the design philosophy for all Lexus vehicles since 2001, and points to the future vision of luxury cars.

BRAND HISTORY
Toyota launched its luxury car brand LEXUS in the American market in 1989. The aim was to offer a new value that set it apart from American and German luxury cars, leveraging Toyota's renowned technological prowess, superior quality, and exceptional customer service.

When the "LS400" (domestic name: Celsior) and "ES250" (domestic name: Camry) were introduced to the American market in September of the same year, the LS400 quickly won the Best Import Car award in February of the following year, 1990. Lexus's reputation continued to grow, and with the expansion of its lineup, it solidified its position as a luxury car brand.

Following its success in America, Lexus expanded into Europe in 2004 and announced its business development in Japan in May of that year. In August 2005, it launched its luxury car business in its home country. Initially, the lineup lacked a flagship model like the "LS," featuring only the "GS" (successor to the Toyota Aristo), "SC" (Toyota Soarer), and "IS" (successor to the Toyota Altezza). However, with the introduction of the long-awaited new LS in September 2006 and its hybrid version, the "LS600h/LS600hL," in May 2007, Lexus met the expectations of the luxury saloon market.

Meanwhile, Lexus has focused on building a sporty image, announcing the sports model "IS F" in October 2007 and entering the development-stage sports coupe "LF-A" in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race in May 2008, further enhancing its appeal and anticipating increased popularity.
