An Exterior and Interior Enhanced for Sportiness

The newly released "Golf GTI adidas" is a special edition of the Golf GTI, the hot-hatch version of the Golf. This model is a collaboration with "adidas," a sports brand born in Germany like Volkswagen, which enjoys high popularity in Japan. It features special design elements and equipment. The Golf GTI is a premium compact that balances high driving performance with environmental compatibility. By adding the essence of adidas, it has been reborn into an even sportier specification.

While maintaining the color scheme of the current Golf GTI, the door sill plates and exclusive leather & fabric seats are unified in a two-tone black and red. The center of the seats and the B-pillar are adorned with the adidas logo, and the body color is a special Oryx White Pearl Effect. Furthermore, the striking dual-spoke 18-inch aluminum wheels, designed exclusively for the Golf GTI adidas, give the impression of powerful performance.

To commemorate the launch of the Golf GTI adidas, the "Golf GTI adidas Run x Drive Campaign" will be held from January 22nd to February 28th.

The campaign details are as follows:

Period: Saturday, January 22nd – Monday, February 28th
Overview: Participants who access the special website and register with My VW will be entered into a lottery. Ten winners will receive "mi adizero Japan" running shoes, which can be customized in color and size, and feature the text "Golf GTI."
Additionally, the first 240 customers to test drive a Golf GTI at an authorized Volkswagen dealership during the campaign period will receive a "Volkswagen x adidas Original Enamel Cooler Box."

The car will be specially exhibited at the "au x adidas EKIDEN GRAND PRIX" ekiden race in Osaka on January 22nd and in Nagoya on February 11th.
