Based on the Ferrari 430 Scuderia
The modern Stratos was commissioned by Michale Stoschek, a motorsport enthusiast who actively participates in events like rallies and is also the owner and CEO of Brose, a major German automotive parts manufacturer.
The design is the work of Jason Castriota, design director at Saab, with assembly handled by Pininfarina.
The engine and chassis are based on theFerrari's F430 Scuderia. The 4.3-liter V8 engine, mounted mid-ship, produces a maximum output of 510 hp. With its redline set at 9000 rpm, it's said to reach a top speed of 360 km/h.
Carbon fiber is used for the body, achieving an ideal front-to-rear weight distribution of 50:50. These figures suggest performance that surpasses the original Stratos, hinting at an exceptional driving experience.
Photographs comparing the new and old Stratos reveal that the details have been faithfully recreated.
There are reports that around 25 units of this revival model will be produced in limited quantities, but no official announcement has been made yet.
