V6 + Motor Plug-in Hybrid

The Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE was presented as a prototype hybrid SUV at the Detroit show. Amidst a show buzzing with trucks and sports cars, the company's commitment to developing environmentally friendly vehicles for the next generation was particularly striking.

"GTE" has previouslyGolfandPassatbeen used as a sub-name for plug-in hybrid models. The Cross Coupe GTE, with its eye-catching, large 5-seater, 4-door body and prominent 22-inch wheels, follows suit. By leveraging the high torque of the electric motor, the vehicle can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds, despite its substantial size.
