Following the significant minor revisions to the E-Class Sedan & Station Wagon, the Coupe and Cabriolet, as well as the E 63 AMG, which boasts the highest performance in the E-Class lineup, are also receiving major updates.

The Coupe, Cabriolet, and E 63 AMG, which have undergone substantial improvements, feature a refreshed front design, similar to the previously announced Sedan and Station Wagon. The headlights have been changed from the previous four-light configuration to a two-light design, marking the first time full LED lights have been adopted in the E-Class. This gives the car a sportier expression.

The gasoline engines offered in the Coupe and Cabriolet range from the 1,991cc four-cylinder turbo in the E200 (184 ps) to the 4,663cc V8 twin-turbo in the E500 (408 ps), with a total of six engine options. The diesel engines include three types, from the 2,143cc four-cylinder turbo in the E220 CDI (170 ps) to the 2,987cc V6 turbo in the E350 (265 ps).

Naturally, the equipment has also been upgraded, mirroring the Sedan and Station Wagon. All models come standard with 'Collision Prevention Assist' which automatically applies the brakes when a collision is detected by radar, and 'Attention Assist' which detects driver fatigue or drowsiness and issues a warning.

Regarding the E 63 AMG, official details have not yet been released. However, a significant change hinted at is the introduction of '4MATIC', an all-wheel-drive system, for the first time in this model. Details are expected to be revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, which begins on January 14th.
