The Golf 8 comes with 'We Connect' and 'We Connect Plus,' which enable constant online connectivity and information updates. These are offered free of charge for a limited time ('We Connect' for 10 years). It also features 'Wireless App-Connect' for controlling some car functions via smart devices.

The model lineup includes: the 1-liter 'Golf eTSI Active Basic' (¥2,916,000) and 'Golf eTSI Active' (¥3,125,000). The 1.5-liter models are the 'Golf eTSI Style' (¥3,705,000) and 'Golf eTSI R-Line' (¥3,755,000). The 'Discover Pro package,' which includes navigation and connectivity features, is an optional ¥198,000 upgrade.
Personally, I'd also want the 'Luxury Package' (¥231,000), which includes an electric panoramic sliding roof and a 480-watt 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system.
