Car Enthusiasts Will Be Elated

While a 6-speed manual transmission was available at launch, the model I test drove was equipped with the "M DCT Drivelogic," a 7-speed automatic transmission. By gripping the semi-spherical shift knob and moving it forward or backward, similar to BMW's Steptronic, you can enjoy manual shifting.
As the figures show, BMW's inline-six engine offers ample torque even at low RPMs, making the automatic transmission perfectly adequate. However, to not utilize its full potential would be a shame.
As this is a high-revving engine, with its peak output occurring between 5250rpm and 7000rpm, one would be missing out if they didn't manually shift to pull through the higher rev range and enjoy how swiftly the car responds to even the slightest press of the accelerator.
The suspension setup is sporty, meaning it's on the firmer side. However, it consistently maintains drive force by following the undulations of the road. The tires grip the surface firmly, propelling the car forward with substantial torque. If you can visualize this while driving, any car enthusiast is sure to feel a sense of pure joy.
The interior design follows the concept of the previous generation. The infotainment monitor is also small. A host of physical controls for climate and audio are arranged across the dashboard. I personally don't dislike this layout; in fact, I found it quite easy to operate while driving.
The highly sculpted sports seats are aesthetically pleasing and sporty, and in practice, they offer excellent support, holding the occupant firmly in place during cornering. At highway speeds, they are quite comfortable.
The price is 9.35 million yen. I'm told that sales are now quite limited. You'd be fortunate to find one at a dealership. Experiencing its enjoyable driving dynamics, I can certainly understand why.
