A Sports Car Developed with Schumacher's Input

The 430 Scuderia, launched in 2007, is a sports car that further refines the F430, aiming to perfect the driving dynamics of Ferrari's mid-engine V8 sports cars. As its name suggests, the 430 Scuderia is infused with technology honed by the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team, and it's particularly intriguing that the "Emperor," Michael Schumacher, was deeply involved in its development.

While the V8 engine shares the same displacement as the F430, optimizations to the piston shape and intake/exhaust systems achieve an output of 510 ps, a 20 ps increase.
The paired gearbox has also been enhanced from the F1-type gearbox, evolving into the F1 SuperFast2 gearbox with reduced shift times.

The E-Diff (electronic differential), first introduced on the F430, has been reborn as E-Diff2 by integrating with the F1-derived traction control system, "F1-TRAC." This results in a 40% improvement in acceleration when exiting corners compared to the previous traction control system.

Furthermore, the "Manettino," which allows the driver to freely select the car's settings, has been replaced with the "Racing Manettino," which includes a mode to cut traction control, making it more focused on sporty driving. Carbon-ceramic brakes are also standard equipment, promising a more exciting circuit driving experience.

BRAND HISTORY
Many fans feel a thrill at the sight of the "Cavallino Rampante," known in Japan as the "prancing horse." Ferrari is a marque that ignites passion with its fierce performance on the track and captivates with its elegant silhouette and piercing sound on the street. Whether in F1 or in its road cars, this brand, which pursues the pinnacle of speed, still carries the strong spirit of its founder, Enzo Ferrari.

Born in Modena, Italy, in 1898, Enzo was inspired by a race he witnessed in Bologna at the age of ten, eventually aspiring to become a racing driver himself. His unwavering ambition steadily moved towards realization, and in 1920, Enzo became a test driver for Alfa Romeo. In the Targa Florio of the same year, he competed as an Alfa driver and achieved a commendable second place.

However, Enzo's interest eventually shifted towards managing a racing team, leading him to establish Scuderia Ferrari in 1929 to take over Alfa's racing activities. Despite his prowess, his relationship with Alfa ended in 1939. After World War II, in 1947, he resumed racing activities with his own "Ferrari 125," powered by a V12 engine. This marked the beginning of Ferrari as a sports car brand.

Ferrari later became part of the Fiat group and continues to enhance its brand appeal under the leadership of President Luca Montezemolo, who also serves as chairman of Fiat Group. The lineup consists of five models: the V12-powered "599" and "612 Scaglietti," the mid-ship V8 sports cars "F430" and "F430 Spider," and the "430 Scuderia," which represents the peak of sportiness.
