Maserati Airs First Commercial During Super Bowl Broadcast
Maseratiaired its first spot commercial during the broadcast of America's biggest sporting event, the "Super Bowl," held on February 2nd. Titled "Strike," signifying "breaking the status quo," the commercial stylishly promoted the E-segment sports sedan "Ghibli" which was also launched in Japan late last year.

Maserati, celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and embarking on a new chapter, achieved its first-ever commercial broadcast during the "Super Bowl." Watched by over 100 million people annually in the US, the commercials aired during game breaks are a major topic of conversation.
The commercial, a 90-second piece, was based on the "Ghibli", Maserati's first mid-size four-door sedan, which debuted in Japan late last year and is powered by a 3-liter V6 engine.
The cast featured Quvenzhané Wallis, known for her acclaimed child performances and nominated for the youngest Best Actress Oscar for "12 Years a Slave." She also appeared in "12 Years a Slave," which won the Golden Globe for Best Picture this year. The commercial creates a world for the "Ghibli," which is said to possess the power and personality to break the status quo through advanced technology, backed by Maserati's 100-year history.
