A Roadster with the 599 GTO's Engine
The "SA Aperta" is a limited edition model created to commemorate Pininfarina's 80th anniversary. The "SA" in its name is a tribute, referencing the initials of both Sergio Pininfarina, the honorary chairman of Pininfarina, and his successor, Andrea Pininfarina.
The car is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 670 ps at 8250 rpm and a peak torque of 63.2 kgm at 6500 rpm. This unit, featuring Ferrari's signature 12 cylinders, shares the same performance as the "599 GTO," Ferrari's top-tier sports model, highlighting the SA Aperta's exceptional status. Furthermore, improvements in intake efficiency have reduced CO2 emissions to 270 g/km, the best in its class.
The SA Aperta's soft-top roof is a minimalist design, intended for temporary protection from rain. Features like a lowered front windshield further emphasize its sporty character. Notably, the chassis has been reconfigured to achieve the same weight and body rigidity as the Berlinetta.
The interior, crafted from high-quality materials such as leather, carbon fiber, and Alcantara, along with a wide array of body color options, allows for 80 unique expressions of individuality. Ferrari has dubbed this ultimate custom-made model "the pinnacle of Ferrari history."
All 80 limited units have already been sold out.
